The exhibition of Avalokiteshvara, the second painting from The Lungta Triptych, will feature as part of the May 3rd, 2016 Dare to Understand Concert and Awards Presentation honoring Philadelphia Mayor Nutter and Gity Etemad, M.D.   Accompanying the painting's exhibition will be a performance of Avalokiteshvara-Compassion, concert curator and composer Andrea Clearfield's second movement from her three movement chamberwork Lungta-the Windhorse, which is based upon The Lungta Triptych by visual artist Maureen Drdak.  Read about "The Lungta Collaborative" here!
